The county’s five-year crime trend also reveals falling sexual battery (19.7%), robbery (19.6%), burglary (13.6%), and larceny (4.4%) rates. Law enforcement agencies also recorded 2,002 cases of burglary, 5,957 larcenies, 932 motor vehicle thefts, and 45 arsons.Ĭompared to the county’s 2013 crime data, murder (350%), aggravated assault (40.7%), and motor vehicle theft (53.5%) rates were higher in 2017.
